I love and appreciate this couple so much! Candice and Nick not only love each other so very, very much, but they also know how to throw one heck of a love celebration for their family and friends! This Palm Springs native bride worked hard with her creative mother, and talented coordinator April Suess from The Bride and I to come up with a perfect look to accent the lovely La Quinta Resort & Club. April and her team did a fabulous job keeping the day running smoothly and making sure everyone stayed cool! The day was a hit and ended with a very grateful father of the bride toast and lots of dancing! There may or may not have been a napkin involved! It all turned out great and was so much fun to capture! The most exciting thing about this whole event was the fact I got to live up to the promise I made to Barbara, the mother of the bride, who asked for her daughters wedding to be featured on Style Me Pretty! The first day of the rest of their lives together started at the place they met, the beautiful Hideaway Country Club in La Quinta . Sam and Lucas were so cute! Both giddy to see each other and celebrate with the people who love them. They were the perfect example of why first looks can be so important! A first look is a time when a moment is created for the bride and groom before their ceremony. It lets them reveal themselves to each other, get the nerves out, and have some time together before it gets crazy. Another reason to do portraits before the ceremony is to help ensure that amazing light can help create amazing pictures! Light was the only problem with this fabulous couple – the ceremony just finished before the moon rose! But everything turned out perfectly! Family and friends from all over came to love “Lumantha” as they partied into the night! Cathy and the fabulous team at Celebrations of Joy helped insure that everything went smoothly and looked beautiful! A sparkly dress, some fun dancin’, and a ride into the night on a golf cart were the perfect ways to end a perfect day! Thanks for having me caddy your wedding Sam and Lucas, and I can’t wait to dish about the new bachelor gossip!!

I have never seen such an emotional reaction from a groom seeing his bride for the first time as I did at Jenn & Greg’s wedding at The River Mill.  That endearing moment brought all their loved ones to tears, as well as myself,  after witnessing how much love they have for each other. Not only are Jenn and Greg loving, but they are also really fun and down-to-earth people. Boy, do they know how to throw a party!

Katie and Ryan’s wedding was simple and so sweet. It took place at the Lyford House, in Tiburon, CA, on an overcast day in September. The way that Ryan adored Katie made my heart melt, seriously. These two have such great love and respect for each other that it was a joy to capture their happiest day.  The view was incredible, the food was incredible, but most importantly, the love and energy of the day and of everyone who attended was incredible. Truly a beautiful day.

This stylish, music-loving couple brought their love all the way from Iowa to celebrate with family and friends at the amazing Riviera resort in Palm Springs. Steve and Kay are the sweetest couple and so in love! Steve made sure to remind Kay how beautiful she looked and how lucky he felt through out the whole day. Their evening celebration had a rock and roll feel and details, staring with concert ticket invites, and ending with personally made CDs of the couple’s favorite songs! All these killer details were created and coordinated by the couple’s friend and the overall talented Emily of Amber Karson Events.

Kay and Steve, it was so much fun meeting you two, and I really had such a great time celebrating your love!! Seriously, the best blind date ever!!

Getting into a relationship with a diehard hockey fan is no joke! Brandon discovered that you best be ready to bundle up and get a cold nose at every home game and prepare to own everything possible – even boxers – with a team logo on it. For this hardcore couple, that team logo is an LA Kings crown. Myself, I’m an Anaheim Ducks girl all the way but we all found it in our hearts to appreciate our overall love of the sport and decided to work together

Let me tell you, I’m so glad we did! It was such a great day at a beautiful, small winery up in Camarillo called Bella Victorian Vineyard. The property was beautiful and the owners even came out and made fresh stone oven pizzas during the cocktail hour! Being the foodies that Stephanie and Brandon are, they made sure to have delicious bites served at every moment possible! Between Stephanie getting excited for every song that played at the reception, Brandon’s super sweet vows and awesome cufflinks, and the touching moment of remembrance for Stephanie’s mom during the ceremony, this wedding was a joy to be a part of.

Stephanie and Brandon, thanks for trusting me and for introducing me to tuoco shots! I’m looking forward to attending a hockey game together someday soon! And special thanks to Stephanie’s best friend, maid of honor, and coordinator extraordinaire of the day, Dana, and her team with Haber Event Group! You ladies were great! Enjoy!

When a bride and groom, and the entire wedding party, roll up to their wedding in a long pink limo, you know the fun is about to begin! Dohee and Jacob didn’t let anyone down! Let’s just say there was a surprise guest at the reception that was nothin’ but a hound dog!

The lovely Palos Verdes made the perfect backdrop for the Northern California residents’ wedding day bliss. They met each other overseas, rekindled their friendship after running into each other here in the states, fell in love and the rest is history. My favorite part of their day was when Dohee looked over at Jacob during a quiet moment after the ceremony and said, ” I can’t stop smiling! I’m just so happy. I’m the happiest bride ever.” Dohee, you were stunning in all three of your gorgeous dresses and your joy made my job easy. Thank you both for a fabulous day and I am so glad to have played a part in your love story!

It was an especially beautiful morning at the Vibiana in downtown LA when Noel and Miguel re-celebrated their love. They had their actual wedding on the East coast the week before, and then came back to their home turf in Southern California to share their new union with their relatives, local friends, and church family. I had already met this fabulous couple when we did their engagement session at Griffith Observatory, which you can see here. Having that time together before the wedding was a great way to get to know each other, so when it came time for their big day, everyone was comfortable and ready for fantastic portraits. Noel & Miguel, thanks for being fierce in front of the camera and the sweetest couple always! The whole morning was such a special celebration and it was all topped off with a great food truck and a shaved ice truck that kept everyone cool! It is evident that you both are loved and I wish you all the best in the beginning of happily ever after.

Lisa and Robert had a gorgeous wedding at the Outdoor Art Club in Mill Valley, CA.  I adored Lisa’s choice of being a more classic bride, having her hair and make up done in a very vintage Hollywood glam style… she looked so stunning! Robert was very entertaining throughout our photo sessions, making us, and especially Lisa, crack up all the time. Their love consists of so much witty humor and adoring kisses, that our cameras ate it up.  Their ceremony was very unique since it was a blend of a modern ceremony with a Persian twist, incorporating many of the cultural details and traditions. A belly dancer performed at their reception, which encourage everyone to participate in dancing the rest of the night away.
